Part 1: The absolute must-haves

Evidence of Immigration Status in the UK

✅ The Non-Negotiables

• [ ] Valid passport - needs to be valid when they make the decision
• [ ] Current BRP or eVisa evidence - the card or share code, you gotta be legal
• [ ] All previous visas - ex-BRPs, ex-visas
• [ ] Completed online application - SET(O), SET(M), or SET(LR) depending on your route
• [ ] Application fee paid - it's expensive (£2,885 last we checked)

✅ English Language Proof (Pick ONE)

• [ ] SELT certificate - B1 level from an approved center (most common route)
• [ ] UK degree certificate - if it was taught in English
• [ ] Previous English test - if you already did one for another visa
• [ ] Passport from English-speaking country - some nationalities are exempt

✅ Life in the UK Test

• [ ] Valid Pass certificate - you have to take this test, no way around it

✅ Biometrics & Health Surcharge

• [ ] Biometric appointment - book this early, slots fill up fast
